About Us
T.E.A.M. 4 Travis is the only organization in the world dedicated to raising awareness of Isolated Congenital Asplenia, a genetic birth defect in which there is no spleen or the spleen is non functioning.

In our mission to end childhood death from Isolated Congenital Asplenia, our focus is on raising awareness, providing education (for medical and patient communities) and supporting medical research to further understanding about and creation of a diagnostic test.
Travis was a healthy, happy, beloved son, who on the rare occasion caught a cold, recovered quickly. How is it possible that merely 20 hours after spiking a fever, he would be gone?
Isolated Congenital Asplenia is a serious and potentially fatal disease as it impacts the spleen, a key player in our immune system. Without a spleen, a bacterial infection could be life threatening to a newborn or child.
